Using thin needles acupuncture gently stimulates the body’s own healing response to build vitality and restore balance. This practice has been used for thousands of years to treat the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
I can treat you without needles using tunia massage, moxa (a warming treatment), and cupping. In a tuina treatment I work with my hands along the meridians and with the acupuncture points. Tuina, traditional Chinese medical massage, has been described by some as combination between acupressure and shiatsu.
In an online or phone consultation we will look at where your body is out of balance and work with food, herbs, and home remedies to restore that balance. Using common foods like pomegranate, beets, cilantro or bone broth and simple practices such as foot baths and self-massage can give powerful effects when it comes to everything from boosting fertility, to lifting mood, to sleeping soundly.
The forest is a powerful healing place. It is for those times when there is no clear answer, or no clear path forward. It is for times when you wish to give thanks and gratitude. It is for times when you want to manifest the miraculous. It is for the times when you must surrender, when only prayer is left. It is for times when you need to let go and courageously walk into a new life. We will enter the forest together. I will work with you, the trees, the plants, the animals, the sun, the seasons, the stones, song, and the water to create ceremony to support your intention.
